Photo Illustrations

1.The staged illustration (Traditional)
2. I picked two pictures for this one because i really like both.
the first one is about income tax and how hectic they can be while the second one shows how under the sea can be a real adventure!
3. i liked the first one because its eye popping with the letters, numbers and signs coming from small to big and the man who looks stressed is blue.
The second one is pretty funny i think and random. i like it, it really does show what it illustrates.

1.The composite image
2.The photo try's to mix old devices such as records with modern technology like ipods.
3. i like this because it really sticks out to me and it looks cool. plus i like the Beatles.

1.The photo realistic alteration
2. This photo shows a little girl in a Digital SLR with her toy camera showing that through out history; history being the pictures... some kids tend to start off young when becoming photographers.
3. I really like this photo because it looks neat and you see the illustration in the photo.

1.The photo made into art
2.This photo shows that its fun to play in a pumpkin patch?! :]
3. I like this photo because it makes me think of Charlie Brown and the great pumpkin

Following Concepts

Zone Focus-Finding a spot to focus in and waiting for whatever your shooting to get into that spot!

Shutter Speed- If getting a shot with lots of movement, shoot at a high shutter speed and a good amount of light. If inside lower the shudder speed because there isn't much light indoors.

Panning- When you fallow the subject while keeping them in focus. This technique can give you a good blur. And is pretty tricky to get it right the first time.

Waiting for the Pause- Basically self explanatory. You wait for a paused moment while the subject is in action, then soot.

I like # 16 because of the angle its in. The light comes in through the left side of the photo letting the right side of the building being lit up, while the other side of the building is in shadow. i also like how patterns form in different angles of the. And how everything is symmetrical. The focus of the picture is set right because there is no blurs.

Gordon Parks

By:Gordon Parks
Malcolm X Addressing Black Muslim Rally in Chicago1963

This picture is formal and informal because he is dressed up but then hes not posing or looking directly into the camera. This is a hard lighting portrait; the light is shining on the right side of his face. To create this effect you would have to have your subjected in the dark and have a powerful light in a cirtain area of the room or in some sort of angle?!

Langston Hughes Poems

Merry-Go-Round

Where is the Jim Crow section On this merry-go-round, Mister, cause I want to ride?Down South where I come from White and colored Can't sit side by side। Down South on the train There's a Jim Crow car। On the bus we're put in the back—But there ain't no back To a merry-go-round! Where's the horse For a kid that's black? Langston Hughes
i read for about 20 minutes.
